If you've never refilled a flux pen before, then it might be a little confusing to know what to do. We're going to break it down for you in three easy steps.
First, let's start with the tools you'll need to get this done. Of course, you'll need a bottle of flux to fill the pen. You'll also need a pair of pliers to make it easier to remove the pen tip. Additionally, you might want a rag or paper towels nearby for cleanup and to keep the flux off everything.
1. With a pair of pliers carefully remove the dispensing cap and attached felt tip.
2. Slowly refill pen body with liquid flux from refill bottle.
3. After the pen body is filled, secure the dispensing cap and tip with the pliers into the pen body.
*Note-The felt tip can be easily replaced with a new felt tip, simply by sliding the old one out, and sliding the new replacement tip in it's place.
Now that you have your flux pen refilled, you are ready to get to back to work. Good luck and happy soldering!
