5 Key Features of the Aoyue 968A+

Here are 5 main features of the Aoyue 968A+ 4 in 1 Digital Hot Air Rework and Soldering Station:

1. Triple Hitter
This station is built with a hot air gun, a smoke absorber, and a soldering iron. Doesn't it seem kinda weird needing more than one device for this? Surprisingly, not many soldering stations have all these features. It comes in handy when there are multiple types components that need to be soldered or desoldered. Yet sometimes a soldering iron is not enough, sometimes you need a hot air gun instead which is better for surface mount components.
2. Built-in Smoke Extractor
One of the most important things to remember when performing re-soldering work is that the fumes could be dangerous if continuously inhaled. This feature is absolutely useful when it's built in because it allows the work space to be a little less cramped. Instead of needing to buy a smoke absorber separately its already there. It also has a carbon filter that is a lot  safer than other filters out there.
3. Error Reporting Mechanism
This nifty little feature tells the user when there is a problem with the sensor or heating element in the device. This is definitely handy for users who are not very familiar with soldering stations.
4. Auto-Cooling
When in doubt cool it off! The auto-cooling feature sends a burst of air through the hot air gun after use before it turns off. This allows the user to safely put the device away without worry. This also increases the life of the heating element by cooling it off quickly.
5. Switch it up
Have you had a soldering station in the past that read in a temperature reading your not familiar with? I have and it is a pain constantly converting the numbers. Thankfully this unit comes with a built in feature allowing the user to switch between °C and °F. This is very helpful when you don't want to look up the temperature conversion.
